Description: Image of a cemetery in White Hall (now Seven Springs), N.C. Reed describes the photograph as follows: "The Little Graveyard at Whitehall.--This is the private burial-place of the family owning most of the property in the vicinity. The rail fence behind which the Forty-fourth lay was on this side, so that many never saw or heard of it until after the view was brought home. The fence was badly broken by the enemy's bullets, and has never been repaired."
