Photographs taken by New Bern photographer Hugh Wood. The album contains sheets with two photographs per page. Pages 5/6 are missing and pages 7/8, 15/16, and 23/24 are missing the bottom photos. The dimensions of the album are approximately 30 cm x 19 cm x 2 cm (12 x 7.75 x 1 inches).

This album includes historical attitudes and beliefs about race that are offensive and dehumanizing. We present them in order to provide a more complete and critical examination of the past.
