"Here are Mr. and Mrs. George Herman "Babe" Ruth at New Bern, N.C., with 200-pound deer that the Bambino killed near Camp Bryan and the 40 ducks they bagged at Davis, N.C., on their southern hunting trip. Mrs. Ruth brought down one of the ducks herself, although it was her first hunting trip in Carolina. They are more proud of this "game" than any baseball game the Bambino has ever won."
