Mrs. W.A. Gaskins Passes Very Suddenly [handwritten Died March 20 1923]
Mrs. W.A. Gaskins died suddenly at her home, 10 Griffith street, yesterday afternoon at 5:45 o’clock at the age of 73 years. Funeral service was conducted from this residence this afternoon at 4 o’clock by Rev. P.B. Hall, pastor of the Christian church, and interment made in Cedar Grove cemetery.
Mrs. Gaskins was well known throughout the county, having been a native of Craven. In addition to her husband she leaves one son, Guy Gaskins, proprietor of the Cycle company, and four brothers A.J. Gaskins, city, F.H. Gaskins, Vanceboro, and Cicero and Levi Gaskins of Craven County.

Roy D. Gaskins. New Bern—Funeral Services for Roy D. Gaskins, 65, who died Thursday will be held at 3 p.m.Monday in Willis Ballard Chapel by the Rev. Graham Royal Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Margaret Harrison of Savannah, Ga.; one sister Mrs. Haywood Harris of Havelock, Rt. 1.
