Trent Academy

The New Bern Sun Journal in 1976 stated that, in September 1972, Trent Academy opened its doors with two hundred forty-eight students attending and sixteen teachers employed at the time. (1) The yearbook collection, housed here at the Kellenberger Room, starts in 1973, the first full year of Trent Academy. Each yearbook gives a glimpse of what each student was up to from 1973 to 1977. New Bern businesses from the 1970s are advertised, and prom photos and school clubs are displayed.  Though the school is no longer open, the yearbooks are still available for browsing.
